Why StartupSauce exists
Building a SaaS business is hard, and most of the advice written about it is written for companies in a different place, at a different stage, with a different amount of money behind them. StartupSauce is the room we wanted: other founders running real software businesses, talking honestly.
We don't allow direct competitors to join, so members discuss things they wouldn't share publicly — financials, conversion and churn rates, pricing experiments, and the growth tactics that actually moved a number.
It is run by Ryan Wardell — serial entrepreneur, growth marketer and mentor at several tech startup accelerators around the world. He previously ran a done-for-you cold email service and a boutique growth consultancy for startups.
